Become a Deputy Voter Registrar
Harris County Democratic groups have undergone a coordinated effort to register new voters over the past several years and the benefits are clear. While there is still much to be done, our voter registration efforts have led to historically high turnout in 2016 and unprecedented victories for democrats in Harris County at every level. You can take action to help continue this trend. If you've never been deputized, you can easily become a Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar. If you're already deputized, your license to register voters will expire on December 31st, 2016. Everyone interested in helping us achieve gains in future elections should attend a Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar training in January. You can only register voters in the county where you have been deputized, but many counties will allow you to become deputized in their county once you've attended a single training. Once you're deputized in one county, just call or e-mail the other county Tax offices to inquire about becoming deputized in that county. Click on the buttons below for dates of trainings and further information.
